SnowBall A No-Go For 2015 | Set To Return In 2016

Organizers of Colorado’s SnowBall Music Festival have announced the event will not be held in 2015. The good news is that the festival will return to the mountains in 2016 in an attempt to get back to “the roots of the event we envisioned way back in 2011,” when SnowBall was first held.

Last year’s SnowBall took place at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver featuring the likes of Pretty Lights, GRiZ and Yeasayer. Here’s the statement from organizers about the plan for SnowBall:

We will not be returning for 2015 as we take the time to re-group and re-focus on creating an authentic SnowBall experience — true to the roots of the event we envisioned way back in 2011.

While we’re bummed to not be back for 2015, we’re already extremely excited about where we’re headed — back to the Colorado Mountains where the dream began [and where it will live on forever].
