Slightly Stoopid Announces Red Rocks 2020 Openers

Slightly Stoopid confirmed support for their two-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer. Pepper, Common Kings, Don Carlos, Citizen Cope, Fortunate Youth and The Hip Abduction will open for the band in August at the majestic venue in Morrison, Colorado .
Saturday, August 15 will see Slightly Stoopid joined by Pepper, Common Kings and Don Carlos. Sunday, August 16 features a lineup of Citizen Cope, Fortunate Youth and The Hip Abduction followed by Slightly Stoopid performing an “Acoustic Roots” set at sunset. Slightly Stoopid’s 2001 album Live and Direct: Acoustic Roots, was originally recorded live, on-air in KIOZ 105.3 – and done in only one-take. The album features many of the hits that propelled their early career such as “Couldn’t Get High,” “Wiseman,” “Collie-Man,” “Prophet,” and more. Their performance on Sunday, August 16th during sunset at Red Rocks will feature the band playing the album in its entirety plus other acoustic gems from their catalog – a performance that has only occurred one other time in the U.S.
