Slightly Stoopid Announces 2017 Sounds Of Summer Tour

Southern California’s Slightly Stoopid has announced their 2017 Sounds Of Summer Tour. The band confirmed 27 new shows in 19 states this coming June, July and August.

The 2017 Sounds Of Summer Tour launches on June 8 in Glen Allen, Virginia. Following the opener, Slightly Stoopid will make several stops along the East Coast, culminating on July 2 in Portland, Maine. A West Coast leg begins July 14 in Boise, Idaho with additional nights in Oregon, Washington and California.

Texas will host three nights of the Sounds Of Summer Tour before a move back west for nights in Nevada, California and Arizona. Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado will host the Sounds Of Summer Tour finale on August 18. Iration, J Boog and The Movement will support Slightly Stoopid for the summer shows.

“It’s gonna be a summer of madness when we the hit the road with our boys Iration, J Boog, and The Movement for the Sounds Of Summer 2017 tour,” said Slightly Stoopid frontman Miles Doughty. “Smokestacks and sunshine while spending the summer jamming, BBQ-ing, and hanging with friends. Doesn’t get much better than that!”

More dates are expected to be added. A pre-sale for tickets begins at 12 p.m. local time tomorrow, Friday, March 3 through the Slightly Stoopid fan club. General public tickets go on sale Friday, March 10 at 10 am. local time.
