Sleater-Kinney was the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday. The rockers performed “Say It Like You Mean It” with Fred Armisen joining the band on tambourine.
“Say It Like You Mean It” is the second single from Sleater-Kinney’s upcoming album Little Rope, arriving January 19, 2024 via Loma Vista Recordings. The band heralded the record in October with lead single “Hell” and also announced 2024 tour dates.

For their Kimmel performance, Sleater-Kinney’s Corin Tucker led the group through the song with Carrie Brownstein handling lead guitar work. Toward the end of the performance Bronwstein’s Portlandia co-star Fred Armisen hopped on the riser to shake some on tambourine.
