Skull & Roses, a celebration of the community generated by the music of the Grateful Dead, will be held at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California April 6 – 8. Organizers recently revealed the initial lineup for the event, with various bands presenting a wide set of interpretations of Grateful Dead music. The headliners will each play full shows and performances will not overlap.
Golden Gate Wingmen featuring John Kadlecik, Reed Mathis, Jeff Chimenti and Jay Lane will headline along with Stu Allen & Mars Hotel, Melvin Seals & JGB and Cubensis. Other acts set for Skull & Roses ’18 include Moonalice, David Gans, Roosevelt Collier, Shred Is Dead, Alligators, Grateful Bluegrass Boys, Shaky Feelin’ and Jerry’s Middle Finger.
