Sixpence None The Richer announced details of their “We Are Love” 25th Anniversary Tour featuring stops in over 20 U.S. cities. The fall excursion marks the first for the band’s original members in over 20 years.

Sixpence None The Richer — Leigh Nash, Matt Slocum, Dale Baker and Justin Cary — was formed in New Braunfels, Texas. The quartet scored a huge hit with their 1998 single “Kiss Me,” which climbed up to the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Covers of the La’s “There She Goes” and Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over” also hit the charts before Sixpence None The Richer initially disbanded in 2004.

The original members released the single “The Tide” late last year under the Leigh Nash + Sixpence None The Richer banner. More new music is expected this fall.

“I am beyond grateful to be making new music with my bandmates again and cannot wait to bring it to our longtime fans and new ones as well!” stated Leigh Nash. “I would say that making new Sixpence music has felt like picking up where we left off close to 20 years ago, but everyone in this band has grown and become better musicians, better writers, better performers, and we are making better music as a result,” added Matt Slocum.
