Sir Woman, the solo project of Kelsey Wilson (Wild Child), appeared on CBS Saturday Sessions over the weekend. The Austin-based singer-songwriter led her band through three songs including a cut off her new album, If It All Works Out.
If It All Works Out arrived on February 21 and is one half of a double album. Sir Woman will release the second half, If It Doesn’t, on May 16.

Kelsey Wilson drew inspiration for If It All Works Out from ‘70s soul, funk and R&B.
“It was all the records from the 70s that I loved listening to growing up,” Wilson stated on the impetus behind the LP. “I got to emulate and do my version [on If It All Works Out].”
Sir Woman selected If It All Works Out opener “Circles” for the CBS Saturday Sessions performance. Kelsey Wilson also took it back to some of her early singles performing “Highroad” and “Making Love.”
