Sinkane — the project of Ahmed Gallab — announced a new EP, Gettin’ Weird (Alive at Spacebomb Studios), and shared a reworked version of the track “Ya Sudan.” The EP arrives on October 25 via Spacebomb Records.
The new EP is a quick follow up to Sinkane’s 2019 album Dépaysé, which contains the original version of “Ya Sudan” and a number of other songs that Gallab reworked for the new project with the Spacebomb House Band: producers Pinson Chanselle and Cameron Ralston, multi-instrumentalist and arranger Trey Pollard as well Matthew E. White, who helmed the project as executive producer.

“Working at Spacebomb was a dream,” Gallab said in a statement. “It’s not every day that you can roll up to a studio, instantly connect with the people there, and create magic in less than 3 days. Those guys are the real deal. Preserving the tradition and art of making music in a studio in the age of bedroom major label recordings.”
The new version of “Ya Sudan” also came with a video directed by Jake Cardwell. Check it out below:
