Sinkane Issues ‘The Berlin Sessions’ Charity EP

Sinkane has announced the immediate release of a new EP entitled The Berlin Sessions. The group will donate 100 percent of the sales of the three-song effort to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Recorded in May 2017 at Red Bull Music Studio Berlin, the Bandcamp exclusive release features “Telephone” and an extended arrangement of “The Way” off the recently issued Life & Livin’ It album. Frontman Ahmed Gallab was joined on guitar by Jonny Lam, along with bassist Ish Montgomery, drummer Jason Trammell, keyboardist Elenna Canlas and vocalist Amanda Khiri. A re-written, nine-minute version of “Yacha,” off 2014’s Mean Love, features Khiri on lead vocals and is included in the set.
