Silk Sonic Covers Con Funk Shun’s ‘Love’s Train’

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are set to kick off their Vegas residency later this month.

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak-led project Silk Sonic recently shared a rendtion of the Con Funk Shun cut ‘Love’s Train.” The cover follows the release of the R&B duo’s debut album, An Evening With Silk Sonic, which arrived in November 2021.

Silk Sonic made its debut in March 2021 with the single “Leave The Door Open.” They followed with “Skate” in July 2021 and “Smokin' Out The Window” in November just ahead of the album’s release. Silk Sonic shared the Con Funk Shun cover “Love’s Train” — which appears on the R&B group’s 1982 album To The Max — on Valentine’s Day as they get set to kick off their Las Vegas residency later this month.
