Sierra Hull Cory Wong Weighted Mind Video

Guitarist Cory Wong enlisted mandolinist Sierra Hull as his special guest at a series of shows in North America last month. Video featuring Hull’s performance of “Weighted Mind” with Cory Wong and his band from a concert held at Portland, Oregon’s Revolution Hall on November 9 has been posted on Wong’s YouTube channel.

“Weighted Mind” is the title track from Sierra Hull’s 2016 studio album. The Béla Fleck-produced LP earned Hull a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album.

Hull’s breathy vocals and sizzling mandolin work were on display during “Weighted Mind” in Portland, Oregon. The song also features impressive solos from bassist Sonny T, keyboardist Kevin Gastonguay, drummer Petar Janjic and saxophonist Eddie Barbash.
