The Shins Extend 2017 North American Tour

2017 has been and will continue to be a big year for The Shins, who recently released Heartworms, their first album since 2012. The band has added a bevy of North American tour dates to a run that will start in May and continue through early August before the group heads to Europe.

The Shins’ tour is currently set to begin at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 13. James Mercer & Co. will then bring the tour to Virginia, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Alberta, British Columbia and Idaho later in May. From there, the group visits Kansas City, Memphis, Portland (Maine), Cooperstown, Troutdale, Ogden and Las Vegas in June. July features gigs in Niagara Falls, Cleveland and Burlington before the group ends the North American portion of the tour with early August stops in Pittsburgh and Boston.
