The Shins Announce Additional 2017 Fall Tour Dates

The Shins are touring this year in support of their recently released studio album Heartworms. The group fronted by James Mercer has confirmed a number of additional shows as part of their upcoming Fall Tour schedule.

Mercer and the band will now appear in Washington state on September 23 in Redmond and on September 24 in Spokane. They’ll also play Portland, Oregon on September 25 and Paso Robles, California on September 28. The Shins will join Spoon for a previously announced run beginning in Berkeley, California on September 30. From there, The Shins and Spoon will play San Diego on October 1, Phoenix on October 3 and at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on October 5. The Shins will also perform solo on October 4 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Brooklyn will host Mercer & Co. on November 3, while Philly will welcome them the following night. Shows in Detroit on November 7 and in Columbus, Ohio on November 8 come ahead of nights in New Orleans on November 14 and Nashville on November 15. The batch of Fall Tour dates also includes a show on November 16 in Charlotte and a gig in Atlanta on November 17.
