Shakira Celebrates 20 Years Of Truth-Telling Hips With Wyclef Jean On ‘Fallon’

Shakira performed “Hips Don’t Lie” in celebration of the global hit’s 20th anniversary on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Rapper Wyclef Jean joined Shakira to perform his parts of the song.

“Hips Don’t Lie” appeared on the 2006 reissue of Shakira’s album, Oral Fixation, Vol. 2. The album version featured Wyclef, who co-wrote the song with Shakira and others.

Shakira’s most recent album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, was released in 2024. She will perform a concert next Tuesday, May 13 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina with support from Wyclef and D-Nice.
