Shaboozey has spent much of April at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, performing at both Coachella and Stagecoach festivals. The singer-songwriter’s Stagecoach set saw Shaboozey bring out Sierra Ferrell to perform their recently shared song, “Hail Mary.”

Ferrell contributed to the studio version of “Hail Mary,” which was one of six bonus tracks Shaboozey included on the Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going: The Complete Edition of his 2024 album that was released last week. The expanded version also includes features by Jelly Roll on “Amen” and Myles Smith on “Blink Twice.”

Ferrell’s Stagecoach set took place the day before her Saturday sit-in with Shaboozey. Fellow singer-songwriter Nikki Lane joined Ferrell on a cover of “Lesson in Leavin’” by Jo Dee Messina.
