Actor Seth Rogen now considers Dead & Company his “favorite band of all time” and all it took was seeing the Grateful Dead offshoot once at Sphere in Las Vegas on a head full of acid. Rogen recounted the experience on Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Jimmy Kimmel is currently on vacation. Kathryn Hahn, who co-stars with Seth Rogen in the upcoming Apple TV+ series The Studio, served as guest host from Monday through Wednesday. Hahn and Rogen were filming the show in Las Vegas when they went to see Dead & Co. at Sphere together.

“It was normal Las Vegas for the first week and a half, and then one day, our casino was filled with bald men with ponytails and tie-dye shirts. We were like, ‘Oh, The Grateful Dead is here,'” Rogen remembered. “I can’t speak for everyone, but I did a ton of acid, and then went to the Grateful Dead show with everybody, and with you. It blew my goddamn mind! It was really something.”

Kathryn Hahn had a similar experience. “I didn’t know any of the music and I danced the entire time,” Hahn revealed. “It was weird to hear a band for the first time – and then for them to become your favorite band of all time! ‘I don’t know this song but it’s the best song I’ve heard in my entire life!’” Rogen responded.
