Scott Sharrard & Friends Announce Duane Allman Tribute Concert Featuring Jaimoe, Robert Randolph & More

Legendary guitarist Duane Allman will be honored at “Where It All Began,” a celebration of Duane and the Muscle Shoals Sound at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on November 20. Scott Sharrard will serve as musical director and will be joined by a house band and a batch of special guests.
Sharrard, who was the Gregg Allman Band’s musical director during the last few years of Gregg’s life, will be joined in the house band by drummer Rich Pagano, bassist Brett Bass, keyboardist Peter Levin, trumpeter Reggie Pittman and saxophonist Jay Collins. Additionally, Jaimoe, Duane and Gregg’s fellow co-founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, will also be on drums.
Vernon Reid, Robert Randolph, Duane Betts and Lisa Fischer will be among special guests at the tribute to the late Duane Allman. Tash Neal, Junior Mack, Leslie Mendelson and Vaneese Thomas round out the lineup of confirmed guests. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketweb.
