Scott Rogowsky Quizzes Governors Ball Attendees On Jam Scene Bands

HQ Trivia host Scott Rogowsky attended the Governors Ball music festival in New York City earlier this month. The comedian showed off his knowledge of jam scene bands both old and new while quizzing unaware festival-goers at Randall’s Island.

Rogowsky regularly drops references to Phish and Grateful Dead songs during HQ Trivia games. His trademark introduction to the app-based multiple-choice daily competition is to quote Phish’s “AC/DC Bag” and the line “let’s get down to the nitty-gritty, let’s get the show on the road.”

During his visit to Governors Ball, Rogowsky was filmed while asking fellow attendees if the bands onstage were of the jam band variety. He quizzes audience members on Aquarium Rescue Unit, Gov’t Mule, RAQ, Steely Dan, Umphrey’s McGee, Twiddle, Gordon Stone Trio, The String Cheese Incident, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Spafford and Turkuaz.
