Scott Metzger & Jackie Greene To Team For Duo Show Tonight

This evening, guitarists Jackie Greene and Scott Metzger will join forces for a performance at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York on Long Island. Tickets are still available as of press time via the venue’s website.

The pair first came together for a private performance in April at Brooklyn’s Hometown Bar B Que. With Metzger on electric guitar and Greene switching from upright piano to acoustic guitar, the pair worked up renditions of the Grateful Dead’s “New Speedway Boogie,” “Bertha” and “Sugaree” as well as Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” and Elton John’s “Burn Down The Mission,” among other selections.
