Scott Metzger & Jackie Greene Perform Together In NYC

On Saturday, Scott Metzger and Jackie Greene paired up for an unannounced joint appearance in New York. The special duo performance took place at Hometown Bar B Que in Brooklyn as part of a wedding celebration.

With Metzger on electric guitar and Greene switching from upright piano to acoustic guitar, the pair worked up renditions of the Grateful Dead’s “New Speedway Boogie,” “Bertha” and “Sugaree” as well as Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” and Elton John’s “Burn Down The Mission,” among other selections.
