New Jersey’s Scarecrow Collection is proud to announce the release of their second full length album, Radio Frequency Disaster, on Harmonized Records. The album hits shelves April 17. Pre-order copies of the album are available now at the Homegrown Music Network. The Band has also tour dates in conjunction with the release of the new album.

Formed in 2001 the quintet has been steadily building a solid base of dedicated fans in the Northeast with their unique brand of roots-oriented pop rock. With over 300 live performances, and through recording, Scarecrow Collection has developed a refined songwriting sensibility, drawing on the soulful blues influences of bands like Led Zeppelin and the Black Crowes, and winning them the attention of fans and critics alike.

Recognized by Relix Magazine as a “Band on the Verge,” Scarecrow Collection’s last record, Hooked and Shattered, garnered solid national press coverage, resulting in a coveted spot at the CMJ Music Marathon. An unflagging tour schedule, featuring head-turning performances at The 11th Annual Gathering of the Vibes (NY) and the 10th Annual SmileFest (NC), along with regular spins on Sirius Satellite Radio, has laid the groundwork for the success of their upcoming full-length LP, Radio Frequency Disaster.

The new album features eleven tracks that cover a broad emotional scope, from the introspective balladry of “Bottle” to the driving sense of determination expressed in the hook-based “I Won’t Leave You There.” Supported by heavy touring across the East Coast, Midwest, and beyond, coupled with vigorous promotion aimed at College and AAA radio, Radio Frequency Disaster, is poised to widen Scarecrow Collection’s reach to a newly appreciative national audience.
