Santana Welcomes Trombone Shorty At Jazz Fest

Santana’s headlining performance on Saturday at the 2019 New Orleans Jazz Fest included Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews sitting-in. The collaboration featured a medley of classic favorites and more.

Guitarist Carlos Santana and his band mates jammed with Trombone Shorty on Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Chile.” They then transitioned into Santana and The Isley Brothers’ “Total Destruction To Your Mind.” The jam also incorporated elements of the classic “Fever.” Watch the collaboration via video posted by Kevin Grace below:
