Sammy Rae & The Friends Unveil Inspiring ‘We Made It’ Single Featuring Celisse

Sammy Rae & The Friends shared a new single, “We Made It,” featuring Celisse. The track is set for the band’s forthcoming debut full-length album, Something For Everybody, due out on September 20 via Nettwerk.

The premiere LP from bandleader Sammy Rae follows her previous EPs, 2018’s The Good Life and 2021’s Let’s Throw a Party. So far the band has shared three singles from Something For Everybody: “I Get It Now,” “Thieves” and “Coming Home Song.”

Sammy Rae & The Friends now follow with “We Made It” featuring Celisse.

“It’s a song about regular everyday people who are proud of themselves and their accomplishments, working hard for the life they want,” Sammy Rae said of “We Made It.” “This is an answer to those who say ‘one day you’ll make it when…’ or ‘you’ll know you’ve made it when…’. A song about contentment where you are, and the little steps and achievements that actually make for a happy and fulfilled life.”
