Ryan Adams’ UK & Ireland Tour Canceled

Ryan Adams’ upcoming UK and Ireland tour dates were canceled following accusations of abusive behavior against the singer-songwriter. Ticketmaster Ireland confirmed the cancellation of the shows scheduled in March and April.

The concert cancellations come in the wake of several women making allegations of abusive behavior against Adams. The New York Times published an article last month that included statements from Adams’ ex-wife Mandy Moore, singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers and others detailing Adams’ purported emotional abusive and sexual misconduct. The Times also reported on a woman identified as Ava who allegedly shared sexually explicit messages with Adams while she was underage, which the FBI is investigating.

Adams denied the allegations in a series of messages shared on Twitter. His attorney further denied the claims in a statement.

In addition to Adams’ tour cancellation, the release of the first of three albums set for 2019, Big Colors, was indefinitely postponed. Those who purchased tickets to the UK and Ireland shows can expect full refunds.
