On February 17 singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will issue his new LP, Prisoner, through Pax AM/Blue Note Records. Adams has today shared another preview of his 16th studio album via the single “Doomsday.”
Adams released a studio album in 2015 which was a complete song-for-song cover of Taylor Swift’s 1989 record. His last album of original material was the 2014 self-titled Ryan Adams full length. Previously Adams shared the Prisoner singles “To Be Without You” and “Do You Still Love Me?”
Adams will appear solo on A Prairie Home Companion on Saturday and he’ll set out with his band on tour in March in support of Prisoner. The newly confirmed dates include stops in Richmond, Virginia; Columbia and North Charleston, South Carolina; Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, Florida and wrapping up in New Orleans, Louisiana.
