Ryan Adams Details Extensive ‘Prisoner’ Box Set

Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams is due to release a new album Prisoner through Pax AM/Blue Note Records on February 17. The following month Adams will make available a limited Prisoner: END OF WORLD Edition vinyl box set.

The extensive Prisoner: END OF WORLD Edition comes with 12 7-inch vinyl records, featuring each of the 12 songs on Prisoner. Expected to ship mid-March, each of the 45s are backed with previously unreleased B-sides, totaling 17 additional tracks pressed on a different color vinyl and packaged with unique artwork.

Along with the rare wax, Prisoner: END OF WORLD Edition also includes a special 2-D action playset with real working lights and sound detailing Adams’ stage set up. Twelve randomly selected copies of the Prisoner: END OF WORLD Edition box set will also have a one-of-a-kind solo acoustic 7-inch single of a song on Prisoner recorded on the Electric Lady Studios Voice-O-Graph.
