Runaway Gin Phish Tribute Act Announces Fall & Winter Dates

Phish tribute act have announced a bevy of dates spanning this coming Friday through early January. The quartet will visit New York City for the first time, will play an “all-Phunky covers show” and will ring in 2017 at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta.

Up first for Runaway Gin are a pair of Phall Grand Balls with pianist Holly Bowling. Runaway Gin and Holly will play the Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, South Carolina on Friday followed by the Columbia Music Farm in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday. The band continues a weekly residency at the Charleston Pour House on Sunday. Also on tap for the group are visits to Jacksonville, Tampa, Wilmington, Charleston, Birmingham, Oxford, Greenville and Raleigh. A big night for the foursome will take place on Saturday, November 19; when Runaway Gin make their New York City debut at Highline Ballroom ahead of a show at Gypsy Sally’s in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, November 20.

So far, December finds the band playing Barrelhouse South in Savannah on December 9, performing a two-night stand at the Rabbit Hole in Charlotte on the 16th and 17th and the aforementioned New Year’s Eve gig in Atlanta. 2017 starts with shows in Asheville on January 6 and Nashville on January 7.
