Watch Joel Cummins Join Runaway Gin For ‘Maze’: Pro-Shot Video

The Phish tribute act will embark on a 15-concert winter tour to start 2022.

Phish tribute act Runaway Gin – A Tribute to Phish welcomed Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins to guest on “Maze” at The Broadberry in Richmond, Virginia on Friday night. Runaway Gin, who announced their 2022 Winter Tour dates, shared pro-shot video featuring Friday’s “Maze.”

Jacksonville’s 1904 Music Hall hosts Runaway Gin’s tour opener on January 20. The quartet then hits Atlanta on January 21 and Nashville on January 22. February gigs for the quartet include stops in Winston-Salem, Roanoke (Virginia), Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Columbus, Chicago, Indianapolis and Cincinnati.

Runaway Gin heads to the Northeast to cap the tour in March. A performance at Ardmore Music Hall near Philadelphia on March 3 will be followed by shows in Saratoga Springs, New York on March 4; New York City on March 6 and Bridgeport, Connecticut on March 6. Tickets for Runaway Gin’s Winter Tour 2022 are on sale now.

Cummins was in Richmond on Friday for a performance with UM at the nearby The National earlier in the evening. The keyboardist emerged for the Rift classic during Runaway Gin’s second set at The Broadberry. Cummins replaced RG keyboardist Jennifer Reiser on “Maze.” The rest of the band consists of guitarist Andy Greenberg, drummer Sean Bing and bassist Tim Khayat.
