And Ruined Your Set: Phish’s Jon Fishman Spotify Playlists

Tomorrow, Phish’s Jon Fishman celebrates his 52nd birthday. The dress-donning, vaccum-playing drummer known by many nicknames is an essential ingredient to the veteran jam rock band’s evolving sound and eclectic personality. This edition of Saturday Stream revisits and updates a pair of Spotify Playlists originally presented when Fish celebrated turning 50.

First is a playlist titled And Ruined Your Set, taken from the lyrics to Phish’s instrument-swapping tune “Walfredo.” It features Fish singing lead while guiding Phish through an eclectic set of covers and a some originals, at times punctuated with a signature Electrolux vacuum cleaner solo.
