Rubin Museum To Host Grateful Dead Documentary ‘Long Strange Trip’ Preview

The long in the making Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip is coming to Amazon in May, but for those in New York City that don’t want to wait a sneak preview will be available. The Rubin Museum Of Art will host a special event on March 5 featuring filmmaker Amir Bar-Lev.
Author/journalist Steve Silberman will also take part in the event which will feature select scenes from the Martin Scorsese produced film. The event will take place between 2:30 – 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 5 at the Chelsea museum. A limited number of tickets are available via the museum’s website.
The entire 235-minute Long Strange Trip Grateful Dead documentary series will premiere May 26 on Amazon.
