Royel Otis made their late-night debut on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Australian duo of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic delivered a potent performance of their latest single, “say something,” at 30 Rock for the NBC television series.

The hard-charging track was co-written by Maddell and Pavlovic with Billy Walsh (Post Malone, The Weeknd) and producer Omer Fedi (Lil Nas X, The Kid LAROI). “say something” is the third single from Royel Otis’ sophomore studio album, hickey, which is due out on through OURNESS / Capitol Records on August 22.

“This is a song about unspoken words,” Royel Otis said of the track in a statement.

The pair were accompanied by their touring band for the “say something” performance on Fallon. Royel Otis recently wrapped a brief run of North American dates with a set at San Francisco’s Outside Lands festival. Next up is a series of festival appearances in Europe and the United Kingdom before the duo kicks off a North American fall tour on September 12 in Philadelphia.
