Sacred steel specialist Roosevelt Collier has added 12 shows in February and March which come in addition to his previously announced performances at this weekend’s Suwanee Get-Down & Disc Jam in Live Oak, Florida. Roosevelt will front all-star lineups at each appearance.

On February 17 and 18, Collier will perform at The Barkley Ballroom in Frisco, Colorado along with Bill Nershi (SCI), Alwyn Robinson (Leftover Salmon) and Josh Fairman (Analog Son/Kinetix). Those shows will be followed by a weekend in Northern California with Max Cowan, Jon Bagale and Fishbone’s Norwood Fisher which concludes with a Saturday night show at the Boom Boom Room in San Francisco on February 27 featuring Jay Lane (Primus, RatDog) on drums.

In March, Roosevelt has put together a SuperJam for the inaugural Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival and then heads to New York for four shows across the state with Turkuaz’s powerhouse rhythm section of Taylor Shell and Mikey Carubba as well as Dopapod’s Eli Winderman and Rob Compa on guitars and keys. While a venue for a New York City visit on March 12 has yet to be revealed, Collier will perform in Albany on March 9, Buffalo on March 10 and Syracuse on March 11. Finally, Collier has confirmed three nights in the Northern Rockies that includes two-set evenings backed by Jelly Bread starting in Salt Lake City (March 17), a special evening in Bozeman with Montana up-and-comers Cure For The Common (March 18) and a closer at the famed Mangy Moose in Teton Village, Wyoming (March 19).
