Rolling Stones Welcome Brad Paisley For “Dead Flowers” In Philly
AT WELLS FARGO CENTER IN CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE
The Rolling Stones’ 50 and Counting World Tour continued last night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Following the tour’s trend of a special guest each night – in addition to the other nightly guests of Mick Taylor and a choir – the Stones welcomed country rocker Brad Paisley to sit in with them.
Paisley emerged six songs into The Rolling Stones’ set for a take on “Dead Flowers” off of Sticky Fingers. The country star shared vocals with Mick Jagger on “Dead Flowers” and also strummed an electric guitar. Brad’s vocals fit the song nicely and overall it stands as one of the best guest spots of the many on the tour this far.
Nightly Stones guest Mick Taylor performed on “Midnight Rambler” and “(I Can’t Go No) Satisfaction” as has become tradition on the tour. For the first encore, The Crossing Choir helped out on “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”
