The Rolling Stones Perform ‘Beast Of Burden’ In Seattle

The Rolling Stones resumed their North American tour on Wednesday night at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. The legendary rockers performed the 2019 debut of “Beast Of Burden” by request of fan voting.

“Street Fighting Man” served as opener and was followed by the one-two punch of “You Got Me Rocking” and “Tumbling Dice.” Then, The Rolling Stones lit into “Beast Of Burden” for the first time this year. The track from 1978’s Some Girls won out in fan voting over “All Down The Line,” “Emotional Rescue” and “Respectable.” Next, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” ended the first segment of the concert before the core members of the band assembled on the B-Stage for acoustic versions of “Sweet Virginia” and “Dead Flowers.”

After the pairing of “Sympathy For The Devil” and “Honky Tonk Woman,” guitarist Keith Richards led the group through “You Got The Silver” and “Before They Make Me Run.” The Rolling Stones closed out the set in similar fashion to other nights of the run with a string of hits such as “Miss You,” “Paint It Black” and “Brown Sugar” and an extended “Midnight Rambler.” For the encore, The Rolling Stones said farewell to Seattle with “Gimme Shelter” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”
