The Rolling Stones Unveil ‘Angry’ From 1st New Album Of Original Music In 18 Years
Hackney Diamonds arrives on October 20 via Geffen.

The Rolling Stones announced details of their long-awaited new album, Hackney Diamonds, at a press conference today at the historic Hackney Empire in East London hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards also premiered the video for lead single, “Angry,” from the LP set to arrive via Geffen on October 20.
Hackney Diamonds marks the legendary band’s 24th studio album and first consisting solely of original material since the release of A Bigger Bang in 2005. Andrew Watt produced the 12-track album, which was recorded at various facilities across the globe including Los Angeles’ Henson Recording Studios, Metropolis Studios in London, Sanctuary Studios in Nassau, Bahamas and New York City’s Electric Lady Studios and The Hit Factory/Germano Studios.

The Rolling Stones confirmed both late drummer Charlie Watts and current drummer Steve Jordan contributed to Hackney Diamonds. Additionally, Wood revealed Lady Gaga appears on the track “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven.” Former bassist Bill Wyman is also featured on the album.
Actress Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria/The White Lotus) stars in the video for “Angry.” Francois Rousselet directed the visual.
