Roger Waters paid his respects to his friend John Prine. The Pink Floyd bassist shared video of a solo acoustic version of Prine’s “Paradise” in honor of the legendary singer-songwriter who died on Tuesday.

Waters was one of a number of artists including Margo Price, Lucius, Nathaniel Rateliff, Jim James, Justin Vernon and more who joined Prine onstage at the Newport Folk Festival back in 2017. Waters would perform the Prine classic “Hello In There” — which he debuted two years earlier at his own Newport performance — with John and stayed on as all the guests joined in on “Lake Marie” and the aforementioned “Paradise.”
