Watch Rodrigo y Gabriela Shred At KEXP
The duo performed four songs from their new album, In Between Thoughts … A New World.

Rodrigo y Gabriela stopped by the studios of Seattle-based independent radio station KEXP last month to record a session. Today, KEXP posted video of Rodrigo Sánchez and Gabriela Quintero’s four-song performance.
The duo focused on material from their recently released studio album In Between Thoughts ... A New World. Sánchez and Quintero were inspired by their study of Advaita Vedanta (a Hindu philosophy rooted in the concept of nondualism) to create the 10 songs featured on the LP.

Sánchez picked up electric guitar for both the In Between Thoughts … A New World sessions and the pair’s appearance at KEXP. Rod y Gab kicked off their set with “True Nature” and then lit into single “Descending To Nowhere.” Sánchez showed off his voicebox skills on the ensuing “Finding Myself Leads Me To You” and capped the session with “Broken Rage.” Rodrigo and Gabriela went on to speak with host Cheryl Waters about their new LP.
