Robert Plant & Alison Krauss Announce 2024 North American Summer Tour Dates

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss announced 2024 Summer Tour dates. The longtime collaborators’ 30-date Can’t Let Go Tour contains concerts in June, August and September.

The tour will see support from JD McPherson, who also plays guitar in Plant and Krauss’ band alongside drummer Jay Bellerose, bassist Dennis Crouch, multi-instrumentalist Stuart Duncan and keyboardist/guitarist Viktor Krauss.

With two acclaimed albums to their credit — 2007’s Raising Sand and 2021’s Raise The Roof — Krauss and Plant will play selections from the records along with “a cosmic collision of early blues, country deep cuts, revolutionary folk-rock and lost soul music written by legends and unsung heroes like Merle Haggard, Allen Toussaint, The Everly Brothers, Anne Briggs, Geeshie Wiley, Bert Jansch, Ola Belle Reed, Brenda Burns and more, as well as reimagined renditions of Led Zeppelin cuts like ‘The Battle of Evermore,’ ‘Rock & Roll,’ ‘When The Levee Breaks’ and other surprises in store,” as per a press release.

The Can’t Let Go Tour gets underway on June 2 for a centennial celebration at the famed Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa. Plant and Krauss will then head through the Midwest. Among the stops are the Minneapolis area, Madison (Wisconsin), the Chicago area and Toledo (Ohio).

Next, the band will swing through The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. A two night stand at Vienna, Virginia’s scenic Wolf Trap on June 18 and 19 concludes the tour’s initial leg.

The trek will resume with a two-night engagement at Missoula, Montana’s KettleHouse Amphitheater on August 8 and 9. Krauss and Plant will then head to Canada beginning with an appearance at the Edmonton Folk Festival followed by two nights in Vancouver ahead of two shows in Seattle (venue TBD).

The duo will then work ther way down the West Coast. Among the stops are Eugene (Oregon), Stanford (California) and Highland (California). Following a date in Flagstaff, Arizona, Krauss and Plant will deliver two concerts at the Santa Fe Opera August 28 and 29.

The trek then heads up to the newly minted Colorado Springs venue Sunset Amphitheater. The last date on the Can’t Let Go Tour so far will take place at Vail, Colorado’s gorgeous Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on September 1. Additional dates are to be announced.
