Robert Fripp & Toyah Willcox Cover ‘Tainted Love’ For ‘Sunday Lunch’

Toyah Willcox and her husband Robert Fripp of King Crimson shared a cover of the Soft Cell popularized song, “Tainted Love.” The clip comes as the Valentine’s Day installment of the duo’s Toyah And Robert’s Sunday Lunch video cover series.

Toyah And Robert’s Sunday Lunch has seen the couple covering Jimi Hendrix, Joan Jett, Guns N’ Roses and more. Ed Cobb of the Four Preps worte “Tainted Love” and Gloria Jones originally recorded it in 1964. UK new wave synthpop duo Soft Cell reworked the song and topped the chart with the tune in 1981.
