Robby Krieger To Guest With Gov’t Mule On Doors Tribute Shows

Back in August we published a post about the graphic Gov’t Mule had shared for a pair of Mule-O-Ween performances on October 30 in Los Angeles and on October 31 in Oakland. The image used the familiar font associated with The Doors leading us to speculate Mule would honor the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame act at the shows. Well according to a post from Doors guitarist Robby Krieger on his Facebook page, not only will Mule honor The Doors but they’ll be joined by Krieger at both shows.

Here’s the full text of Krieger’s post, “Every Halloween, Gov’t Mule does a show featuring the music of another band. This year it’s The Doors with special guest, Robby Krieger! On the 30th they will do a show in LA at the Fonda Theater, and then on the 31st in Oakland at the Fox Theater. Check it out of you can!” We can’t wait to hear this match made in heaven.
