Rhythms On The Rio 2026 takes place July 30 – August 2 at the bucholic Rhythms on the Rio Festival Grounds in Del Norte, Colorado. Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and Moontricks have been tapped to headline the four-day event.
Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters and The Fretliners will each perform twice at the festival. One of Leftover Salmon’s performances will be a special “Workingman’s Salmon” set on Jerry Garcia’s birthday, honoring the Grateful Dead guitarist.
Additional performers include The Brothers Comatose, Clay Street Unit, Big Something, Dom Flemons, Magoo, Fireside Collective, Sqwerv and Silas Herman & The Tone Unit.
The Del Norte site offers plenty of beautiful shade trees throughout the grounds, which are located on the banks of the Rio Grande river.
Rhythms on the Rio is a fundraiser for the South Fork Music Association (SFMA). Together, SFMA and Rhythms on the Rio have provided thousands of dollars for musical instruments, materials and instruction to children in the greater San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado.
