Central Park SummerStage :: New York City

New Orleans rockers The Revivalists continue to grow a fervent fanbase with each successive stop in New York City. On Thursday, the band played in front of one of their biggest NYC crowds yet at Central Park SummerStage. Austin rockers White Denim kicked off the action before frontman David Shaw led The Revivalists on a career-spanning set.

The seven-piece reeled off such fan favorites as “Stand Up,” “Keep Going,” “It Was A Sin” and “Catching Fireflies” over the course of the set. Guitarist Eric Krasno sat-in with White Denim and returned to add to The Revivalists’ first encore of “Wish I Knew You.” The Revivalists then ended the night with a cover of The Beatles’ “Hey Jude” as a second encore. Jeremy Gordon was on hand to capture the action. Check out his photos after video of Kraz’s guest spot with The Revivalists.
