Reminder | HeadCount Anniversary Free Webcast Tonight

By Scott Bernstein Jun 4, 2014 10:15 am PDT

Tonight, our friends at HeadCount will celebrate the organization’s 10th anniversary at Brooklyn Bowl with a performance from Bob Weir & RatDog featuring special guests including Brendan Bayliss of Umphrey’s McGee, Eric Krasno, Eric Bloom and Ryan Zoidis of Lettuce and Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein. If you can’t make it in person, TourGigs is serving up a free live webcast of the concert. The show is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. ET.

While Brownstein’s Disco Biscuits haven’t performed a Grateful Dead song in the past, we expect that will change at this summer’s Gathering Of The Vibes when the band plays with GD drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. Bayliss and Umphrey’s McGee teamed up with Weir at the Brooklyn Bowl on September 6, 2011 for performances of “Not Fade Away” and Glory.”

For his part, Eric Krasno first performed with a member of the Grateful Dead in Central Park on November 9, 2013; when he teamed up for an impromptu set with Phil Lesh and Joe Russo.

Kraz paired on with Phil Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band at Brooklyn Bowl later that month.

We’re excited to see what tonight’s concert holds.
