Remembering Bob Marley: Performing Solo On Acoustic Guitar

Bob Marley lost his battle with cancer on this date in 1981 at the age of just 36. Though he’s been gone for 35 years his wide-ranging influence continues to shape the minds and hearts of listeners from his native Jamaica and across the entire world. A truly global superstar, Marley’s legacy is nearly unparalleled among his peers.

In September 1980, Marley taped an appearance on the Rockers TV program with host Earl Chin.
