Reed Mathis & Electric Beethoven Share ‘To Love The World’ Single

Reed Mathis and Electric Beethoven shared the single “To Love The World,” from their album, Hear No Evil. Color Red will release the record later this summer.

The album is being rolled out via the band’s monthly release series. Previously, the series began with the Hear No Evil track “Ramps & Vamps.” Inspired by a portion of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, “To Love The World” was co-produced by Reed Mathis and Otis McDonald and features the former on bass along with keyboardist Todd Stoops, guitarist Clay Welch and drummer Josh Raymer.

“[‘To Love The World’ is] a love letter from Beethoven,” Mathis wrote. “Translated by us. Improvised in his honor. Intended to help heal.”
