Reed Mathis & Electric Beethoven Announce Thanksgiving Weekend Shows

Bassist Reed Mathis has announced a new set of Electric Beethoven performances. Mathis and his classical dance music project will play a total of four shows over three days and nights this Thanksgiving weekend in California.
Up first is “A Symphonic Brunch” on Friday, November 25 at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California. This unique show will begin with brunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by a two-hour performance by Reed Mathis & Electric Beethoven at 1:30 p.m. sharp in which they will play selections from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6. That night EB will take part in the 5th Annual Black Fri-dye Tie-dye Fashion Gala at the historic Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. Electric Beethoven will perform two sets including one during the fashion show. Foundation Of Funk featuring Zigaboo Modeliste, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Tony Hall, Ian Neville and special guests will also perform.
On Saturday, November 26 Mathis will bring Electric Beethoven to Tahoe Beach Retreat in South Lake Tahoe, California for a Saturday night headlining show. Finally, EB will play a free concert at the Crazy Horse Saloon in Nevada City, California on Sunday, November 27 as a way of giving back and bringing music to the people of Grass Valley.
Electric Beethoven heads to Colorado this weekend for shows in Denver, Fort Collins and Boulder.
