Red Hot Chili Peppers Announce World Tour 2022
Watch the band reveal the dates in a “KHOT” parody of a newscast.

Red Hot Chili Peppers confirmed the dates for their World Tour 2022. The band will embark on a 32-city excursion between June 4 – September 18 that includes stops in Europe and North America. The Strokes, A$AP Rocky, Beck, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, HAIM, St. Vincent, Thundercat and King Princess will open select dates.
The 2022 tour, which the band announced was pending last month, will feature the return of guitarist John Frusciante. Frusciante rejoined the band in 2019 after an initial run with frontman Anthony Kiedis, drummer Chad Smith and bassist Flea from 1988 through 2009, and replaced Josh Klinghoffer. A press release heralding the tour revealed the group “will be performing their career-spanning hits as well as new music from their forthcoming album.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers kick off the run at Estadio La Cartuja De Sevilla in Seville, Spain on June 4, 2022 before a show at Barcelona’s Estadi Olimpic on June 7. The swing through Europe also features dates in The Netherlands, Hungard, Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, Germany and France.
Kiedis, Smith, Flea and Frusciante begin the North American leg in Denver on July 23, 2022. From there, Red Hot Chili Peppers hit stadiums in San Diego, Santa Clara (California), Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit, East Rutherford (New Jersey), Chicago, Toronto, Miami, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston and Orlando before ending the tour at Arlington, Texas’ Globe Life Field on September 18.
A fan presale starts this Saturday, October 9 at 10 a.m. local time in North America and on Wednesday, October 13 at 10 a.m. local time in Europe. American Express cardholders will have first dibs on tickets for the North American dates between Friday, October 8 at 10 a.m. local time and Thursday, October 14 at 10 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, October 15 at 10 a.m. local time mainly through Ticketmaster.
