Alabama rockers The Red Clay Strays were the musical guests on Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The quintet delivered a high-energy performance of “Ramblin'” for the ABC late-night television program.
The Red Clay Strays — Brandon Coleman (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Drew Nix (electric guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass) and John Hall (drums) — took the Kimmel outdoor stage two days before Live At The Ryman arrives tomorrow. “Ramblin'” is the first of 11 tracks featured on the band’s first-ever live album, which was recorded at the famed Nashville venue earlier this year.

The Red Clay Strays originally released the rousing Lynyrd Skynyrd-esque “Ramblin'” on their 2024 studio album, Made By These Moments. The Grammy-winning Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell) produced the LP.
“Luckily Andy didn’t tear any of his staples out while playing,” the band joked in regards to Bishop in a social media post. “Thanks for having us, Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
