Today, Record Store Day shared a full list of confirmed releases that will be available at select independent record stores on April 19. As expected the Grateful Dead will release Live At Hampton Coliseum this Record Store Day. The 2-LP set features most of the band’s first-ever show at Hampton Coliseum from May 4, 1979 (and third with keyboardist Brent Mydland). The producers are listed as the Grateful Dead and the band’s legacy manager David Lemieux. Lacquers were cut by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman mastering, the release was pressed at RTI on 2 180-gram LPs and housed in an old-school style gatefold jacket.

Live At The Hampton Coliseum will mark the first release of music from this show in any format. 7,900 copies will be available on April 19. The artwork, which you can see above, was created by Kyle Fields. Head to Record Store Day’s website for a full list of RSD releases.
