Real Estate swung by KEXP Studios in Seattle back in March during the first leg of the spring tour around their latest album Daniel. The New Jersey-born band performed songs from the 2024 LP and also offered a fitting Elton John cover.
Daniel arrived on February 23 via Domino. Real Estate — guitarist Martin Courtney, bassist Alex Bleeker, keyboardist Matt Kallman, guitarist Julian Lynch and drummer Sammi Niss — began their Live on KEXP session with Daniel opener “Somebody New.”

The band would continue sequentially with the album’s second, third and fourth tracks: “Haunted World,” “Water Underground” and “Flowers.” Finally, Real Estate offered a cover of Elton John’s “Daniel,” which they debuted in Brooklyn in February, as per SetlistFM stats.
